When people ask if wood is dry and ready to burn, they're really meaning 'seasoned firewood'. According to Environment Canterbury, dry firewood is any wood with a moisture content of 25% or less.

We also sell unseasoned firewood (green, freshly cut & split), and partly seasoned (semi-dry) firewood.

Is our firewood dry and ready to burn?

Yes, our wood is dry. Our firewood is air dried & stacked on pallets of the ground to prevent being absorbed into the wood.
